 色一带一路 or 一带一路绿色发展, has already been mentioned in the Deliverables of the Fi
 rst Belt and Road Forum in 2017. However, what does the term actually mean 
 and what does it entail for civil society organsations in BRI host countrie
 s?\n\nDuring this 60 minute open discussion event the China Programme of St
 ifung Asienhaus invites Chinese civil society organisations to talk about t
 heir understanding of 'Green BRI'. Furthermore, the China Programme would l
 ike to foster the exchange between Chinese and Southeast Asian civil societ
 y organisations on the environmental implications of BRI projects.\n\nZhao 
 Zhong of Green Camel Bell and Chen Taiyong of the Sichuan Haihui Poverty Al
 leviation Service Center are going to decode the official Chinese terminolo
 gy through a Chinese civil society perspective and explain how the 'Green B
 RI' can be put into practice and how it can be related to the language of t
 he United Nations such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The spe
 akers' presentations will be followed by a Q & A and an open discussion wit
