Environmental non-governmental organisations in the Nujiang campaign
Buesgen`s MA paper addresses the changing role of Chinese grassroots NGOs and their contribution towards promoting participation, pluralism and people-centred development, using the example of the recent Nujiang anti-dam campaign. His thesis was awarded the ‘05 MA prize as one of the three best research papers of the academic year.
