Socio-Environmental Conflicts in Southeast Asia: A Lecture Series
In this lecture, we explore the challenges Indigenous Peoples in Thailand face as they struggle for self-determination and climate justice. We examine how land rights are defined, which extractive conflicts are unfolding, and how these communities respond through campaigns, legal action, and everyday resistance.
The Talk is part of the Lecture Series "Socio-Environmental Conflicts in Southeast Asia". The Lecture Series is organised by Abteilung für Südostasienwissenschaft der Universität Bonn, Stiftung Asienhaus and the philippinenbüro.
